Chicken

Our broilers spend the majority of their lives outside even from really young (see photo of babies out in their playpen).

Once they are 3-4 weeks old, they move out to the pasture pens and are moved daily to fresh grass in our food forest rows. This provides them with a clean environment every day (unlike filthy conventional chicken houses) and it provides them with fresh pasture where they can forage like a chicken should and at the same time be protected from the many creatures that also love chicken for dinner! They are fed only organic, GMO-free feed.
